MINUTES CITY COUNCIL APRIL 27, 1999 The foregoin~ resolution was duly seconded by Pedersen. Ayes (5) Fahey, Pedersen, Morelan, LaValle, Scalze. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RE.SOI, UTION NO. 99-4-94 - IN.STRUCTING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO PROCEED WITH DISCUSSIONS WITH THE CITY OF VADNAIS HEIGHTS RELATIVE TO ANNEXING LOTS Z, 3, AND 4 TOTALLY WlTHIN ONE CITY'S I30DNDARIES ANll REQUESTING THAT THE ADMINISTRATOR COME 73ACK WITH SOME OPTIONS FOR THE COUNCIL'S REl~IEW The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Pedersen, Morelan, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. VACATION OF Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider the vacation of a UTILITY utility easement over Lot 25, Block 1, Pitrina Park Second Addition. EASEMENT - Council noted that the City En~ineer has reviewed the vacation request PITRINA PARK and recommends approval. SECOND ADD. There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on this matter. Upon motion by Morelan, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was closed. Morelan pointed out that at one point there is 7.4 feet of easement on one side of the sewer easement. Morelan asked if this would be enough room should repairs ever be needed indicatin~ that he thought 10 feet on either side of a pipe was the minimum that the City ever got. The City Administrator replied that the City Engineer has reviewed the vacation request. However, indicated that he would verify this with the Engineer.
