MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 11, 1999 <br />also noted that if the Rutzick proposa( moves forward, Mr. Rutzick should <br />be informed that the office/retail portion of the project would have to <br />move forward prior to the senior housing component. <br />COUNTRY The Council reviewed the purchase agreements presented by the City <br />DRIVE Administrator for the Fasciana and Nadeau properties in the Country <br />REDEVELOP- Drive area. The City Administrator recommended approval of the <br />MENT purchase agreements subject to submission ofthe appropriate letters of <br />credit from C. I. Title to guarantee the purchase of this property should the <br />project not move forward as planned. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption <br />RE.SOI. UTION NO. 99-S-I14 - APPROVINCr THE NADEA U AND <br />FASCIANA PURCHASE ACREEMENTS A,S SU73MITTED AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITYADMINISTRATOR TO <br />EXECUTE THESE AGREEMENT.S CONTINGENT UPON <br />SUI3MISSION OF THE APPROPRIATE I.ETTERS OF CREDIT BY <br />C.I. TITI.E <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mrs. Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Pedersen, Morelan, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The Council reviewed the City Administrator's letter dated May 7'~' <br />outlinin~ the key pointed to be covered in the development agreement <br />between the City and Mr. Biagini for the development of property on <br />Country Drive. <br />The City Administrator recommended that he contact Precision Tree <br />regardin~ the City's purchase of this property. The Administrator <br />recommended that the Council authorize finalization of the development <br />agreement with Mr. Biagini subject to submission of letters of credit and <br />authorize his negotiations with Precision Tree for their property. <br />Mr. Dick Biagini appeared before the Council and reported that he is <br />proposing to construct a 30,000 square foot office building on the Country <br />Drive property south ofNadeau Road. The buildin~ would be brick and <br />wood Frame construction. Appropriate screening from the Condit <br />properties would be provided. <br />Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />
