MINUTES CITY COUNCIL JUNE 8, 1999 Morelan asked how much the 10 cents per ton license fee meant in revenue for the City. Frattalone estimated that they sell 50,000 to 100,000 tons each year; therefore, the license feel would be $5,000 to $10,000. Pedersen indicated that he agreed with all other provisions outlined in the Development Agreement, and suggested that the only open issue was that of the bond amount. Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOI,UTIONNO. 99-6-133-APPROVING THE FRA-DOR DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT SUI3JECT TO A FURTHER RECOMMENDATION FROM THE CITYADMINISTRATOR AND CITYATTORNEY ON THE 130ND AMOUNT OR OTHER OPTIONS FOR ADDREb1SING THE ISSDE OF REMOVAI. OF THE STOCKPII,ES AND RESTORATION OF THE PROPERTY AT TIIE TERMINATION OF THE INTERIM USE PERMIT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (4) Fahey, LaValle, Morelan, Pedersen. Nays (i) Scalze. Resolution declared adopted. Council reviewed the proposed Licensing Ordinance for the stockpiling and crushing of aggregate. Scalze was concerned that the ordinance did not address the fact that this was an interim use. Morelan pointed out that this ordinance is amendin~ the City's license fee codes. The Attorney replied that this was correct. Mr. Morelan introduced the following ordinance and moved its adoption: ORDINANCE NO. 488 - AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTIONS 302.010., SU73D. 12, AND 302.020(C) TO THE MDNICIPAI. CODE OF THE CITY OF LITTI.E CANADA, RELATING TO I,ICENSING OF STOCKPILING AND CRUSHING OF ACCREGATE MATERIAI..S' The foregoing ordinance was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Morelan, LaValle, Pedersen, Fahey, Scalze. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted.
