MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 22, 1999 <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI.UTIONNO. 99-6-144-APPROVING THE CONDITIONAL <br />Ub'E PERMIT FOR OPENAND OUTDOOR STORAGE OF <br />CONSTRUCTION EQ IIIPMENT AND MACHINERY AS AN <br />ACCESSORY USE AT 3172 SPRUCE STREET, PETROLEUM <br />MAINTENANCE, SUB.IECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE <br />RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE ZONING ADMINISTRATOR AND <br />THE CITY ENGINEER <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Fahey, Scalze, Pedersen, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CUP FOR OPEN Ivlayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider the application for <br />AND OUTDOOR open and outdoor storage of trucks and equipment as an accessory use at <br />STORAGE - 3168 Ryan Lane, Koyal Excavating. It was noted that the Planning <br />ROYAL Commission has recommended approval of the CUP subject to <br />EXCAVATING compliance with the recommendations of the Zoning Administrator. <br />Marcel F,bensteiner, representing Royal Excavating, reported that they are <br />in a~;reetuent with the recommendations of the Zonin~ Administrator. <br />Ebensteiner asked if curbing needed to be installed around all the parking <br />areas. <br />The Zoning Administrator reported that the Code requires either <br />continuous curbing or curb stops around the parking areas. <br />Ebensteiner asked if they could have a September 1, 1999 deadline for <br />compliance with the Zonin~ Administrator's recommendations. The <br />Zoning Administrator indicated that that was acceptable. <br />There was no one else present from the general public wishing to <br />comment on this matter. <br />Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Scalze, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />The Zonin~ Administrator reported that an updated site plan still needs to <br />be submitted by Royal Excavatin~;.
