MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 14, 1999 <br />EDGERTON It was noted that the Planning Commission has recommended approval of <br />STREET - the CUP. <br />ERDMANN <br />Mr. Erdmann indicated that he was agreeable to complyin~ with the <br />recommendations of the City Planner. He also indicated that there I <br />currently no shed on the property, and would comply with the shed <br />limitation as noted in the Planner's report. <br />There was no one from the public present wishing to comment on this <br />matter. <br />Upon motion by Morelan, seconded by Scalze, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Morelan indicated that he has no problem with this CUP request given the <br />oversized lot. However, he pointed out the possibility of tl~e lot being <br />subdivided in the future, and asked if there was 1 thoroughfare plan for <br />this area. <br />The City Planner indicated that there was no thorou~hfare plan for this <br />area. He also noted that the lot has a depth of approximately 350 feet. <br />Therefore, if the lot were subdivided, the parcel on Ed~erton would still <br />have more depth than the average sinble-family lot. <br />Pedersen noted the comments in the Planner's report about the <br />architectural appearance of the garage. <br />The City Planner indicated that he is recommendin~ that similar siding <br />and roofing materials be used on the garage to match the house. Either the <br />Building Official or the Zoning Administrator would follow up on this <br />condition to ensure compliance. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved it adoption <br />RE,SOI_ UTION NO. 99-7-174 - APPRO UING THE C'ONDITTONAL <br />USE PERMIT TO AI,I,OW THE CONSTRUCTION OF GAR,4CE <br />SPACE UP TO THE MAXIMi7M OF l, 500 SQUARE FEET AT 3075 <br />EDGERTON STREET AS REQUESTED ]3Y MR. JOFIN ERDMANN <br />SU13.IECT TO COMPI.IANCE WITH THE RBCOMMENDATIONS <br />OF THE CITY PI,ANNER AS CONTAINED IN FII.S REPORT DATED <br />.IUI,Y2, 1999 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Aye (5) Morelan, Fahey, Pedersen, LaValle, Scalze. <br />N1ys (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />
