MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 28, 1999 <br />interested in proceeding, the Reeves should be charged with the additional <br />expense. <br />Scalze also suggested that there is information on record relative to fence <br />vaziances along County Road C that should also be researched with regard <br />to consistency of fence height. Scalze felt that the fence height along <br />County Road C should be consistent. Scalze noted that the Vitale fence is <br />8 1/2 feet high. <br />The City Administrator indicated that City staff has confirmed that the <br />Vitale fence is 8 1/2 feet where it meets the Reeves' fence. However, staff <br />has not determined the height of the fence on the property immediately <br />west ofthe Vitale fence. <br />Fahey stated that he wanted to know the Lesnick's intentions relative to <br />the fence and whether they will participate or not. Fahey asked if a <br />hearing notice for the Lesnick property would have to be republished once <br />an application is received. <br />The City Attorney reported that the exiting hearing notice is adequate. He <br />recommended that the Council close the public hearings on both <br />applications and then table action. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 99-7-189 - TABLING ACTION ON THE <br />APPLICATION FOR VARL9NCE FOR FENCE HEIGHT AS <br />REQUESTED BYMR AND MRS REEVES, 72 JESSICA COURT, <br />UNTIL THEAUGUST 25, 1999 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING IN <br />ORDER TO GIVE STAFF AN OPPORTUNITY TO DO ADDITIONAL <br />RESEARCH ON THIS MATTER <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). <br />VARIANCE - Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider a vaziance for fence <br />'78 JESSICA height for 78 7essica Court. <br />COURT- <br />LESIVICK There was no one present from the public wishing to comment on this <br /> matter. <br />Upon motion by Morelan, seconded by Scalze, the public hearing was <br />ciosed. <br />
