Scalze also suggested that there is information on record relative to fence vaziances along County Road C that should also be researched with regard to consistency of fence height. Scalze felt that the fence height along County Road C should be consistent. Scalze noted that the Vitale fence is 8 1/2 feet high. The City Administrator indicated that City staff has confirmed that the Vitale fence is 8 1/2 feet where it meets the Reeves' fence. However, staff has not determined the height of the fence on the property immediately west ofthe Vitale fence. Fahey stated that he wanted to know the Lesnick's intentions relative to the fence and whether they will participate or not. Fahey asked if a hearing notice for the Lesnick property would have to be republished once an application is received. The City Attorney reported that the exiting hearing notice is adequate. He recommended that the Council close the public hearings on both applications and then table action. Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOL UTION NO. 99-7-189 - TABLING ACTION ON THE APPLICATION FOR VARL9NCE FOR FENCE HEIGHT AS REQUESTED BYMR AND MRS REEVES, 72 JESSICA COURT, UNTIL THEAUGUST 25, 1999 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING IN ORDER TO GIVE STAFF AN OPPORTUNITY TO DO ADDITIONAL RESEARCH ON THIS MATTER The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Morelan. Ayes (5) Fahey, Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, LaValle. Nays (0). VARIANCE - Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider a vaziance for fence '78 JESSICA height for 78 7essica Court. COURT- LESIVICK There was no one present from the public wishing to comment on this matter. Upon motion by Morelan, seconded by Scalze, the public hearing was ciosed.
