MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 27, 1999 <br />RE.SOL UTION NO. 99-IO-2I5 - Tf1131ING ACTION ON THE ISSUE <br />OF RESIDENTIAI. MONUMENT SIGNS PENDING A REVISED <br />REPORT FROM THE CITY PLANNER AND A <br />RECOMMENDATION FROM THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, LaValle, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PUD ZONING The City Planner noted that the property around the entrance area to <br />IN RYAN Ryan Industrial Park is zoned PUD, and that the Fra-Dor property was <br />INDUSTRIAL recently rezoned from PUD to I-2 to all for an interim use. Given this <br />rezoning, it was <br />PARK thou~;ht that some additional discussion was required on whether or not <br />the PUD properties north of Ryan Drive should remain PUD. The Planner <br />reported that the Planning Commission has discussed this issue and is <br />recommending that these properties remain PUD. <br />Morelan asked if a PUD zoning was considered an interim zoning. The <br />City Planner replied that PUD is considered a permanent zoning and <br />indicated that the City does ~ain more control over how property is <br />developed under PUD zoning. <br />It was the consensus of the Council to retain the PUD zoning on the north <br />side of Ryan Drive at the entrance area to Ryan Industrial Park. <br />DEFERRED Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />ASSESSMENTS <br />RESOL UTION NO. 99-10-216 - DELETING DEFERRED <br />AS.SES.SMENTS WHICH ARE AT AN INTEREST RATE OF 7.25 <br />PERCENT OR I.E.S.4 FROM THE LIST OF DEFERRED WHICH <br />WIl,I,13E CONSIDERED FOR A LOWER INTEREST RATE AS <br />RECOMMENDED ]3Y THE CITYADMINI.STR,9TOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Scalze, Morelan, Pedersen, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />16 <br />
