iVIINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 27,1999 <br />SECOND Mr. Morelan introduced the fotlowing resolution and moved its adoption: <br />COUNCIL <br />MEETINGIN RESOI.UTIONN0.99-10-2I7-SCHEDULINCTHESECOND <br />NOVEMBER COUNCIL MEETING IN NOVEM73ER FOR MONDAY, NOVEM73ER <br /> 22, 1999 AT 7: 00 P.M. AND SCHEDULING A COUNCIL <br /> WORK.SHOP MEETING FOR MONDAY, NOVEM73ER 22, 1999 AT <br /> 6: 00 P.M. AT WHICH THE CITYADMINISTRATOR'S <br /> PERFORMANCE REVIEW WII.I, BE CONDUCTED <br />The foregoin~ resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, Scalze, Pedersen, Fahey, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />LITTLE The City Administrator reviewed the feasibility report for the <br />CANADA improvement ofLitYle CanadaRoad as well as the City Engineer's <br />ROAD report dated October 27, 1999 relative to that improvement. <br />F'EASIBILITY <br />REPORT Morelan noted that the feasibility report as presented would result in a <br /> significant impact on The Venetian Inn property. The Administrator <br /> replied that that was correct. The improvement would place the right-of- <br /> way within a few feet of the north wall of The Venetian Inn. The City <br /> would have to acquire easements from The Venetian for the road. The <br /> Administrator recommended that before plans are finalized for the road <br /> improvement, the City will need to make a decision about whether or not <br /> to acquire the additional right-of-way or limit the road improvements to <br /> work within the existing right-of-way. <br />Fahey felt there was the need to move forward with the improvement of <br />Little Canada Road during 2000. <br />The City Administrator recommended that the feasibility report be <br />approved as presented, and that staff be directed to conduct neighborhood <br />meetings to review the plans with the affected property owners. <br />Mr. Morelan introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RE.SOI. UTION NO. 99-10-218 - APPRO vING THE FEAS773ILITY <br />REPORT FOR THE LITTI,E CANADA ROAD IMPROVEMENT AS <br />RECOMMENDED ]3Y THE CITYADMINISTRATOR AND THE <br />CITY ENCINEER <br />The fore~oing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Morelan, LaValle, Fahey, Pedersen, Scalze. <br />Nays (0).
