Resolution declared adopted.
EXTENSION The Zoning Administrator indicated that Saturn Transportation Systems
OF DEADLINE - has requested an extension of the City's December 31, 1999 deadline
SATURN for removal of trailers parked on the Azure property site until December
31, 2000. The Zonin~ Administrator noted that she did not support an
extension of this deadline. However, if the Council was inclined to grant
an extension, she noted that the Council has extended some deadlines for
Ryan Industrial Park property owners until June 30, 2000.
The Zoning Administrator indicated that she had met with the property
owners in January of this year to discuss the non-compliance issue.
Therefore, they have received adequate notice that the trailers will have to
be removed.
The City Administrator pointed out there was an apparent communication
break down between owner and tenant. However, the use was never
lawfully established to begin with. The Administrator pointed out that
similar uses have been discontinued on this site in the past, therefore, the
property owner was well aware that the storage of trailers on this property
was not a permitted use.
Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOI.UTIONNO. 99-11-247-DENYING THE RE~UEST OF
AZURE PROPERTIES AND SATURN TRANSPORTATION
SYSTEMS FOR AN EXTEN,SION OF THE DECEM73ER 31, 1999
DEADI,INE FOR REMOVAI.
