Furthermore, we have witnessed multiple boats of rowers on the water many times
per day, at all hours during the day, which is signiflcantly more than the proposed
times listed on the application.
With the intent to grow from today’s size, this problem will get worse. If allowed,
how will the business be monitored to remain within the parameters of the permit?

5) We have witnessed rowing activity before the designated business start time of
7am.

Unfortunately, even after they received the original letter from the city and personally
speaking with the Sheriff regarding megaphone usage and illegal parking, there has been
no visible effort made by the business/homeowner to reduce their negative impact on
those around them and make any changes or attempts to conform to what has been asked
of them.
It appears they are ignoring both the city and law enforcement. I don’t believe that I
should have to tolerate illegal activity that is negatively impactful to me and the enjoyment
of my home. I don’t believe we should be obligated to make exceptions for illegal activity
that unfairly beneflts some, simultaneously hurting others. I shouldn’t have to deal with
this, and when one considers how many city ordinances they’re breaking, I feel this is too
unreasonable to consider approval or any variation of it.

Another issue for lake users is when the team rows, it’s never one or two boats. It’s usually
8-10-14 rowboats, plus two chase boats and they monopolize the lake. If you’ve seen
these rowboats in use, they each take a large amount of space on the water, all spread out
typically into several groups, and ultimately end up using literally the entire lake making it
