2. To provide safe access, parking areas for one- and two-unit residential buildings, <br />townhouses and four-unit residential buildings with driveway access onto County roads <br />may be designed so that vehicles do not have to back into the street . <br />F. Parking Pads <br />1. A parking pad is a paved surface designed for the parking of passenger or recreational <br />vehicles on residential properties. Parking pads shall be located in the rear or side yard and <br />are not required to connect directly to the primary driveway. <br />2. Parking pads must comply with the following standards: <br />a. Surfacing shall meet the standards outlined in Subsection C (Materials and Surfacing). <br />b. Parking pads are not permitted in front yards. <br />c. Parking pads must be setback a minimum of three (3) feet from side and rear lot lines. <br />d. Storage of vehicles on parking pads shall be done in conformance with Section <br />915.120. <br />3. Use of parking pads for purposes other than vehicle parking may be subject to additional <br />regulations under other application sections of City Code . <br /> <br />
