Resolution declared adopted. <br />Miller introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2025-8-129 — APPROVING A FRONT SETBACK VARIANCE FOR A <br />PRINCIPAL STRUCTURE AT 2975 ARCADE STREET <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Gutierrez. <br />Ayes (4). Resolution declared adopted. <br />STAFF REPORTS <br />AUTHORIZE THE LITTLE CANADA ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AND <br />EASEMENT ACQUISITIONS <br />The City Engineer explained the action before the Council tonight, noting that the resolution approves <br />the project, recognizes the public need for the project, and provides steps for easement acquisition for <br />the project. <br />Mayor Fischer stated that over the last few years, they have been planning for the project, which now <br />has funding. He stated that the Council had a closed session meeting to discuss parameters related to <br />easement acquisition. He recognized that this would be a major project for the city. <br />Kwapick referenced the temporary and permanent easements, recognizing that this will be a large <br />project that impacts many neighbors. He asked that people be compensated for the temporary <br />easements while also recognizing that there are few permanent easements proposed. <br />3 <br />
