The <br /> Commission felt that the Fire Marshal should also comment on the <br /> hazardous waste aspect. <br /> rverson commented that if the State or County does not require a special <br /> permit, this tells him that the volatility of the materials is likely minimal. <br /> However, again, the Fire Marshal should comment. <br /> Pechmann noted that the Materials Safety Data Sheet comments on <br /> flammability, toxicity, eta This should be reviewed by the Fire Marshal. <br /> There was no one present wishing to comment on this matter. <br /> Knudsen noted that the City received a written comment from one <br /> neighbor concenzed about traffic to this home as well as on-street parking. <br /> Knudsen pointed out that given the nature of the business proposed, there <br /> should be no nuisance created as a result o£ the home occupation. If there <br /> are issues related to traffic or deliveries, those should be referred to the <br /> Code )Jnforcement Officer for action. Baaraclough reported that he lives <br /> in the area and from time-Co-time, there are a few vehicles parked on the <br /> street. However, that parking appears to be related to family events. <br /> Fischer recommended approval of a Special Use Permit for home <br /> occupation related to the fabrication and repair of dental devices at 30 Old <br /> County Road C)?ast, requested by Joe Cher Dona Yang, subject to <br /> compliance with the recommendations of the City Planner as outlined in <br /> his report dated November 9, 2009, subject to compliance with the <br /> recommendations of the Fire Marshal relative to property storage, <br /> ventilation, and waste handling, at a minimum, and subject to Mr. Yang <br /> submitting a list of the chemicals and materials to be used as part of the <br /> home occupation. <br /> Motion seconded by Knudsen. <br /> Motion carried 6 - 0. <br /> -4- <br /> <br />
