Resolution declared adopted.
MARKETPLACE The City Administrator reviewed the City F.,ugineer's reporC dated May 7,
AREA 2010 recommending the addition of a sidewalk along Rice Street in front
SIDEWALK of the US Bank property. He noted that sidewalk currently exists on Rice
Street in front of The Village and the Culver's Restaurant. The addition of
this segment would fill in a gap and provide a sidewalk connection to
Marketplace Drive.
The City Administrator noted that the sidewalk improvement has been
previously discussed with US Bank as part of their potential
redevelopment of the property. Given the economy, US Bank does not
foresee a redevelopment in the near future. Therefore, the sidewalk
improvement is likely at the City's expense. However, US Bank would be
contacted for coordination purposes.
5
