MINUTES CITY COUNCIL MAY 12, 2010 APPROVAL OF THE RENEWAL OF 2070 TOBACCO AND LIQUOR LICENSES AS RECOMMENDED BY CITY STAFF; *APPROVAL OF RAMSEY CO LINTY MAINTENANCE AND COOPERATIVE AGREEMENTS FOR THE RICE STREET/HIGHWAY 36 PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITYADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; x;4PPROVAL OFA CHANGE ORDER FOR STORM SEWER REPAIRS AS PART OF THE 2010 MILL AND OVERLAY PROJECTS AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ENGINEER; *APPROVAL OF THE TERMS OF INTERFUND LOANS FOR CANABURYSQUAREAND CANABURYCONDOMINIUM HOUSING IMPROVEMENT AREAS AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITYADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE ON BEHALF OF THE CITY The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. Ayes (4). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. FLOODPLAIN The City Planner reported that the DNR has indicated that the City's ORDINANCE Floodplain Ordinance update has been approved. This ordinance became effective in Late April of 2010. COMP PLAN The City Planner reported that the Metropolitan Council's Development UPDATE Committee will review the City's Comp Plan update in June. The update will then go to the full Met Council for approval in mid to late June. 2010 STREET The City Administrator reported that City staff held a neighborhood WORK meeting with property owners along Ontario Road from LaBore Road to the cul-de-sac to discuss the inclusion of this street in the City's 2010 ONTARIO mill and overlay projects. The Administrator reported that there were ROAll & approximately 10 property owners present and the consensus was to FIRST proceed to an improvement hearing. The City Adminish•ator BANK DRIVE recommended that the Council accept the feasibility report for this project and call an improvement hearing for Monday, June 21, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. The City Administrator also recommended that the Council call an improvement hearing to consider the reconstruction of First Bank Drive. 4
