Resolution declared adopted. <br /> CRACK The Public Works Superintendent reported that the City has received two <br /> SEALING quotes for 2010 crack sealing work, one from Northwest Asphalt for <br /> $1.03/lb. and one from Gopher State at $1.20/lb. The Superintendent <br /> reported that Allied Blacktop did not submitted a quote. 'The <br /> Superintendent reported that the proposal is to crack seal 18 roads using <br /> approximately 27,000 lineal feet of material. The Superintendent <br /> recommended awarding the quote of Northwest Asphalt. He indicated <br /> that this company has done the City's crack sealing work for the past 5 to <br /> 7 years and they have done quality work. <br /> Montour asked if the amount of work is comparable to last year's. The <br /> Superintendent reported that there is a little more work proposed this year <br /> than was done last year. Montour asked if crack sealing of City trails is <br /> done. The Superintendent indicated it has been done in the past and that <br /> he would ask the Parks Department if there is any work they would like <br /> any trail work included. <br /> Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2010-5-133 -AWARDING THE QUOTE OF <br /> NORTHWEST ASPHALT FOR 2010 CRACK SEALING WORKAS <br /> RECOMMENDED BY THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR AT A <br /> COST OF $1.03 PER POUND <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br /> Ayes (4). <br /> Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br /> FLOOD "the Public Works Superintendent reported that recent modeling has <br /> EMERGENCY shown that there are two homes on the south end of Gervais Lake that <br /> RESPONSE have a slight chance of flooding during a 100-year event. Based on this, <br /> PLAN FOI2 the Watershed has put together an emergency response plan should a <br /> SOUTH LAKE flooding situation arise. Both the City and the Watershed would be <br /> GERVAIS responsible for the execution of this plan. <br /> The Superintendent briefly reviewed the Plan reporting that the Watershed <br /> has installed a monitoring station in Spoon lake so that the lake level can <br /> be known at any time. If the level reaches 860, the monitoring station will <br /> 6 <br /> <br />
