St. Jude wilt continue to sustainable building practices and considered their impacts on the environment. Dw•ay stated that St. Jude has a great looking facility and one that the City is proud of. Tim Gyette, Architectural Alliance, reviewed in detail all ten recommendations outlined in the City Plamner's report dated August 2, 2010 and indicated that they will comply. Duray asked if St. Jude was planning the installation of a new monument sign. Gyette replied that they were to clearly identify the new service drive which would be used for truck access as well as Fire Department access. The employee drive will be the center access point with the public and visitor access the most eastern drive. <iyette reported that St. Jude wilt apply for the appropriate signage permits and reviews. Duray noted the Planner's comments that the amowrt of signage is under the maximum square footage allowed. With regard to tree removal and landscape plan, Gyette indicated that some h~ees would be removed near the corner of the existing parking lot and will be relocated. There will be additional landscaping added as well. He indicated that St. Jude will comply with the City's tree replacement ordinance. Gyette then reviewed the City Engineer's report dated August 5, 2010 and indicated that they are working with the City Engineer on those recommendations and would comply. Seviola reported that St. Jude had a meeting with the County Road B neighborhood. Only two were present, but all questions were answered and concerns addressed. St. Jude will continue to be a good neighbor. Duray asked about fire truck access to the upper levels of the parking ramp. Seviola reported that he met with the Fire Marshal and former Fire Chief on the proposal, and a stand pipe system will be installed in the ramp so that fire hoses can be connected to this system. With regard to the service road, there will be aturn-around and/or a widening of the road to accommodate fire truck access and staging. Seviola reported that St. Jude took the recommendations of the Fire Marshal and worked them into the plait. Fischer asked about the visibility of headlights from the upper levels of the ramp to the County Road B neighborhood. Gyette noted that the first level of the ramp is on-grade. There will be side panels on the second and third levels that will captw~e a significant portion of headlight glare. It was also -10-
