St. Jude wilt <br /> continue to sustainable building practices and considered their impacts on <br /> the environment. <br /> Dw•ay stated that St. Jude has a great looking facility and one that the City <br /> is proud of. <br /> Tim Gyette, Architectural Alliance, reviewed in detail all ten <br /> recommendations outlined in the City Plamner's report dated August 2, <br /> 2010 and indicated that they will comply. Duray asked if St. Jude was <br /> planning the installation of a new monument sign. Gyette replied that they <br /> were to clearly identify the new service drive which would be used for <br /> truck access as well as Fire Department access. The employee drive will <br /> be the center access point with the public and visitor access the most <br /> eastern drive. <iyette reported that St. Jude wilt apply for the appropriate <br /> signage permits and reviews. Duray noted the Planner's comments that <br /> the amowrt of signage is under the maximum square footage allowed. <br /> With regard to tree removal and landscape plan, Gyette indicated that <br /> some h~ees would be removed near the corner of the existing parking lot <br /> and will be relocated. There will be additional landscaping added as well. <br /> He indicated that St. Jude will comply with the City's tree replacement <br /> ordinance. <br /> Gyette then reviewed the City Engineer's report dated August 5, 2010 and <br /> indicated that they are working with the City Engineer on those <br /> recommendations and would comply. <br /> Seviola reported that St. Jude had a meeting with the County Road B <br /> neighborhood. Only two were present, but all questions were answered <br /> and concerns addressed. St. Jude will continue to be a good neighbor. <br /> Duray asked about fire truck access to the upper levels of the parking <br /> ramp. Seviola reported that he met with the Fire Marshal and former Fire <br /> Chief on the proposal, and a stand pipe system will be installed in the <br /> ramp so that fire hoses can be connected to this system. With regard to the <br /> service road, there will be aturn-around and/or a widening of the road to <br /> accommodate fire truck access and staging. Seviola reported that St. Jude <br /> took the recommendations of the Fire Marshal and worked them into the <br /> plait. <br /> Fischer asked about the visibility of headlights from the upper levels of the <br /> ramp to the County Road B neighborhood. Gyette noted that the first level <br /> of the ramp is on-grade. There will be side panels on the second and third <br /> levels that will captw~e a significant portion of headlight glare.
