The Planner reported that if the
Commission recommends approval on the IUP Permit for outdoor storage
to a Little Canada business, it should be conditioned that all Code
requirements are being met. The Planner indicated to Mr. Rustad that the
updated site plan should be submitted prior to the August 25`" Council
meeting and in time for the Fire Marshal to conduct his review. Duray
noted that some of the Code requirements will be a limitation on outdoor
storage to 60% of the property, Fire Codes being met, and renters being
Little Canada businesses.
Duray stated that he did not support amending the Zoning Code to allow a
property owner to rent outdoor storage space to non-Little Canada
businesses. Hall voted against.
Mr. Duray recommended approval of the issuance of an Interim use
Permit for outdoor storage for off-site resident tenants (Ace Moving) for a
five year term subject to submittal of a revised site plan identifying all
outdoor storage locations and tenants, that the applicant demonstrate
compliance with all 'Coning Codes and Fire Codes.
Motion seconded by Everson.
Motion carried 4 - 0.
The City Planner indicated that he and the Code Enforcement Officer
would work with the applicant to confirm compliance prior to the City
Council meeting.
AMENllMENT The City Planner reported that Marilyn Montreux has requested an
TO PUD Amendment to a PUD Permit to include residential rental occupancy
PERMIT - of the existing house as well as commercial rental occupancy of out-
2968 RICE buildings at 2968 Rice Street.
