<br /> MINUTES <br /> <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> SEPTEMBER 20, 2010 <br /> Blesener noted that the original CUP and IUP were issued to the previous <br /> owner of the property. Mr. Holm has now purchased this site but does not <br /> occupy the building. The City Planner indicated that CUP runs with the <br /> land, and noted that Mr. Holm is requesting an amendment to the CUP to <br /> expand the outdoor storage area. <br /> Holm indicated that he would comply with the recommendations for <br /> approval, and will complete the screening of the storage area. <br /> There was no one else present wishing to comment on this matter. <br /> Upon motion by Keis, seconded by Boss, the public hearing was closed. <br /> Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2010-9-225 -APPROVING THEAMENDMENT <br /> TO CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW OUTDOOR <br /> STORAGE FOR B UILDING TENANTS AS WELL AS RE-ISSUANCE <br /> OF AN INTERIM USE PERMIT FOR OFF-SITE TENANTS FOR A <br /> FIVE YEAR PERIOD FOR 70 WOODLYNNAVENUEAS <br /> REQUESTED BY DK HOLM PROPERTIES SUBJECT TO <br /> COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CODE <br /> ENFORCEMENT OFFICER AS OUTLINED IN HER REPORT <br /> DATED SEPTEMBER 1, 2010 <br /> The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br /> Ayes (5). <br /> Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br /> AMEND ZONING Blesener opened the Pubic Hearing to consider Amendments to the Zoning <br /> CODE & Code relative to Chapter 903.020, the definition of garden shed as well as <br /> MUNICIPAL Chapter 903.110, pylon sign height for properties in the vicinity of <br /> CODE - freeway intersections, and an Amendment to the Municipal Code relative <br /> GARDEN SHED, dog enclosure. It was noted that the Planning Commission recommended <br /> PYLON SIGNS, approval of the amendments as proposed by the City Plamler. <br /> DOG ENCLOSURE <br /> The City Planner reported that the first proposed amendment to the Zoning <br /> Code clarifies the definition of garden shed clarifying the use of these <br /> sheds. It was noted that there was some discussion at the Planning <br /> Commission that the amendment requires that sheds be constructed of <br /> materials and colors similar and/or complementary to the principal <br /> building. Sheds would also not he constructed of corrugated fiberglass or <br /> metal siding or roofing. The Planner indicated that the intent is that <br /> 7 <br /> <br />
