MINUTES CITY COUNCIL OCTOBER 13, 20L0 Ms. Boss inh~oduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2010-10-241-AWARDING THE LOW BID OF PARSONS ELECTRIC I1V THEAMOUNT OF $17,638 FOR FIRE STATION LIGHTING RETROFIT AS RECOMMENDED BY CITY STAFF The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. CHANGF. The City Administrator reviewed the City Engineer's report ORDER #2- recommending approval of Change Order #2 to add the Ontario Road MILL & project to the 2010 Mill & Overlay Improvements. OVERLAY PROJECTS Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTIONNO. 2010-IO-242 -APPROVING CHANGE ORDER #2 ADDING ONTARIO ROAD TO THE CITY'S 2010 MILL AND OVERLAY IMPROVEMENTS AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ENGINEER The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. CERTIFY The City Administrator reported that the Canabury Square HIA fee for DEFERRED Unit 155 was deferred. The property is now being sold, and the new buyer ASSESSMENT is requesting that the HIA fee be certified to property taxes and spread TO over a lA year period (the time remaining for flee certified Canabury PROPERTY Square 1IIA fees). The Administrator noted that these deferments are TAXES required to be paid in full at the time a unit is sold. However, due to CANABUI2Y financial hardship, the sale will not proceed if the fee is required to be SQUARE paid at this time. "fhe Administrator indicated that it is proposed that UNIT 1.55 $2,025.70 would be paid at closing and the balance of $15,525.77 would be certified to taxes at an interest rate of 5.75%.
