MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 15, 2010 <br />DATED DECEMBER 10, 2010 SUBJECT TO CLARIFICATION <br />THAT THE STANDARD IS IN PLAYAS PART OF ROAD <br />RECONSTRUCTION PROJECTS ONLY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />2011 GOAL The City Administrator recommended that the Council call for a workshop <br />SETTING meeting in order to conduct 2011 Goal Setting. He reported that Mark <br />WORKSHOP Nagle is available to facilitate the workshop and reported on his <br />availability. Montour suggested that the Mayor appoint two or three <br />citizens at large to attend this workshop. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2010 -12- 299 CALLING A 2011 GOAL SETTING <br />WORKSHOP FOR TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 1, 2011 AT 4:30 PM. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />RENTAL The City Administrator recommended that the Council call for a workshop <br />HOUSING meeting to discuss issues related to rental housing licensing. <br />LICENSING <br />WORKSHOP Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2010 -12 -300 CALLING A WORKSHOP <br />MEETING FOR WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 12, 2011 AT 6:30 P.M. TO <br />DISCUSS ISSUES RELATED TO RENTAL HOUSING LICENSING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PLANNING The City Administrator reported that the City received applications for <br />COMMISSION appointment to the Planning Commission from the incumbents Dan <br />APPOINTMENTS Knudsen and Tom Duray as well as from Carl Gerke, Vance Johnson, <br />Heidi Murphy, and Nick Schwalbach. The Administrator reported that he <br />and the Commission Chair interviewed the new applicants. While all <br />appear qualified and able to do a good job, it was their recommendation <br />12 <br />
