The addition will allow for an expansion of light <br />manufacturing and office space within the building. <br />In 2007, the City approved a 475,000 square foot campus expansion plan. At that time, <br />the campus had 112,500 square feet of existing buildings. The approved expansion <br />plan increased the total campus capacity to 587,500 square feet (on an expanded 47- <br />acre campus). If the proposed building addition is approved, the new campus building <br />area would be 607,500 square feet. <br />The uses on the campus remain as originally approved, consisting of office, laboratory, <br />manufacturing and amenity spaces with associated parking. <br />ANALYSIS <br />Project Description. The proposed building addition will be located on the northeast <br />corner of the existing building and encompass 20,000 of floor area over three levels. <br />This 20,000 square feet was not part of the original campus plan, but is consistent with <br />the concept and expected uses on the property. Such space will be devoted to office <br />and manufacturing activities. Level 1 will consist of approximately 7,500 square feet of <br />
