Resolution declared adopted. <br />STAFF REPORTS <br />COMMUNITY BUILDING TECHNICAL ADVISORY COMMITTEE REPORT AND <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The Parks and Recreation Director stated that the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) has been <br />working hard for the past six months to develop the final report that is before the Council tonight. He <br />provided additional background information on the identified need, parcel acquisition, community <br />building think tank, 2025 community survey, Strategic Plan, Technical Advisory Committee (TAC), <br />and project timeline. <br />Jordan Ruplinger reviewed the TAC's mission and vision and the TAC's tasks, deliverables, and <br />meeting schedule. <br />Monika Miller stated that the TAC wanted to ensure the voice of the community remained a focus and <br />shared details on the community engagement that occurred throughout the process, and shared the key <br />takeaways from the community engagement. She presented the Executive Summary found within the <br />report, as well as the detailed recommendations from the TAC. <br />Malone asked if any of the other communities they spoke with had regrets about building a community <br />building because of fiscal responsibility or future burdens. <br />K <br />
