Page 12 — Clarifies that sick leave and vacation leave cannot be combined with <br />hours worked to generate overtime and /or compensatory time pay. A section is <br />added relative to the City's current practice relative to overtime and comp time <br />for Temporary or Seasonal Employees. <br />Page 15 — CIarifes the City's current practice requiring regular part-time <br />employees working a minimum of 20 hours per week on average to purchase <br />long -term disability coverage. <br />Page 32 — Deletes mandatory retirement. Federal Law prohibits public employers <br />from establishing mandatory retirement ages for individuals who are not <br />firefighters or police officers. <br />Page 53 — Updates City Attorney's telephone number. <br />Page 60 — Clarifies the City's current practice relative to uniform pants and <br />footwear for full -time Public Works and Parks employees. <br />Staff recommends approval of the Personnel Policy changes outlined above. Should the <br />Council desire a full copy of the City's Personnel Policy, please let me know and one will <br />be provided. <br />2 <br />
