CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2202 OF THE LITTLE CANADA CITY CODE, <br />KNOWN AS THE MUNICIPAL CODE, AS RELATES TO MASSAGE THERAPY AS AN <br />ACCESSORY USE <br />The City Council of the City of Little Canada hereby ordains: <br />Section 1. <br />Section 2202.010. DEFINITIONS. is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />1. The term "massage therapy" means the rubbing, stroking, kneading, tapping or <br />rolling of the body with the hands or other parts of the body for the exclusive <br />purposes of relaxation, physical fitness, or beautification and for no other <br />purposes. <br />The practice of massage therapy is hereby declared to be distinct from the <br />licensed practice of medicine, osteopathy, chiropractic, physical therapy, podiatry, <br />and nursing, as well as the professions of athletic coaching and trainin_. Persons <br />engaged in those professions are exempt from the provisions of this ordinance. <br />Section 2. <br />Section 2202.030. GRANTING, DENYING AND RESCINDING OF LICENSES FOR <br />MASSAGE THERAPY AS AN ACCESSORY USE. is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />1.
