Fire Protection Extinguishers <br />a) All fire extinguishers shall be maintained and serviced annually and have a sery ice <br />tag attached. <br />b) All fire extinguishers shall be mounted and easily accessible and available for <br />immediate use. <br />c) All fire extinguishers shall meet standards of NFPA 10. <br />All fire extinguishers shall meet the standards of the Minnesota State Fire Code and <br />related standards. <br />Flammable and Combustible Liquids <br />Paint storage /mixing room shall comply with all pertinent codes International Building <br />Code, International Mechanical Code, ICC Electrical code and the Minnesota State Fire <br />Code. <br />The paint storage /mixing room should be removed because it does not comply with any <br />of the mentioned codes. For this room to comply it would need automatic fire sprinklers, <br />automatic fire detection, explosion proof wiring, spill protection and fire resistance <br />construction. This room would also have to meet all of the mention codes. <br />Flammable Finishes <br />Paint Booth <br />It appears that this paint booth was constructed without permits and does not meet <br />Minnesota State Fire Code, International Building Codes, International Mechanical Code <br />or ICC Electrical Codes. To bring the paint booth to code a few of the necessary things <br />needed are an automatic fire protection system, automatic fire detection system, approved <br />ventilation system and approved electrical system. It is my recommendation this paint <br />booth be removed because it is dangerous to both life and property. <br />- 1 4 - <br />
