CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN INTERIM ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A MORATORIUM ON THE <br />PROCESSING OF SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL PLATS CONSISTING OF <br />FOUR OR MORE LOTS WITHIN THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA. <br />TIIE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE CANADA HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: <br />An Interim Ordinance establishing a moratorium relating to certain property <br />within the City of Little Canada. <br />(A) Purpose and Intent. The City of Little Canada has adopted a Comprehensive <br />Plan and Official Controls, pursuant to Minn. Stat. § §462.351 to 462.354, and the Little <br />Canada City Council has authorized staff to conduct a study and to analyze existing <br />subdivision regulations, existing uses, proposed uses, and existing zoning of the property <br />described below within the City of Little Canada, for the purpose of considering <br />amendments to the Comprehensive Plan or Official Controls. <br />(B) Pursuant to Minn. Stat. §462.355, subd. 4, this interim ordinance, for the <br />purpose of protecting the planning process and the health, safety, and welfare of Little <br />Canada citizens, hereby prohibits the processing of single family residential plats, <br />consisting of four or more lots, within the City of Little Canada. <br />(C) This interim ordinance establishes a moratorium, as provided herein, which <br />shall expire on , 2008, if not extended or repealed prior to that <br />time. <br />PASSED by the City Council of Little Canada this day of , 2007. <br />ATTEST: <br />William Blesener, Mayor <br />Ayes- <br />Joel R.
