MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 22, 2012 <br />CONSENT <br />AGENDA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -2 -39 — AMENDING THE SUBDIVISION <br />ORDINANCE, SECTIONS 1006 AND 1008, RELATING TO <br />SPECIFICATIONS FOR VARIOUS SUBDIVISION DESIGN <br />STANDARDS AND IMPROVEMENTS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2012 -2 -40 — APPROVING THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: <br />*APPROVAL OF THE VOUCHERS; <br />'APPROVAL OF FINAL PAYMENT TO FPI PAVING FOR 2010 <br />TRAIL WORK AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY ENGINEER; <br />*ORDERING THE ABATEMENT OF NUISANCE FOR 2600 <br />SPRUCE STREET AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CODE <br />ENFORCEMENT OFFICER <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />NAME THE The City Administrator reported that the City recently advertised a <br />STREET Name The Street Contest to rename First Bank Drive. He pointed out <br />CONTEST that First Bank is no longer in the City, and there are no addresses on <br />PROCESS that street. Consequently, the City has had suggestions that the street be <br />renamed. The Administrator reported that several people have submitted <br />suggestions, and there are 66 suggested street names. The Administrator <br />stated that the goal would be to announce the winner in the next City <br />newsletter; therefore, the winning name should be chosen at the next <br />Council meeting. The Administrator also indicated that the Council can <br />also chose not to rename the street, if it determines there are no names that <br />the majority would support. <br />The Administrator suggested a process where each Council Member <br />chooses its top three names, rating the top choice at 3 points, second at 3 <br />17 <br />
