MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />FEBRUARY 22, 2006 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Allan. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Tk XT Blesener noted that the Council tabled action on the proposed Text <br />AMENDMMENT Amendment to the Shoreland District decreasing the required front <br />TO THE yard setback in the Single - Family Zoning District (R -1) to thirty (30) <br />SHORELAND feet. This matter was tabled pending additional information from the <br />DNR. The City has not yet received that information. <br />DISSTRTCT <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-2-41 — TABLING ACTION ON THE <br />PROPOSED TEXT AMENDMENT TO THE SHORELAND <br />DISTRICT PENDING RECEIPT OF ADDITIONAL INFORMATION <br />FROM THE DNR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />TEXT Blesener noted that at the last Council meeting, a motion to approve <br />AMENDMENT a proposed Text Amendment that would allow recreational uses in the <br />& CUP — front yard of R -1 properties failed on a vote of one in favor and four <br />2580 opposed. The City Planner is recommending that the Council take <br />EDGERTON formal action to deny the proposed Text Amendment based on the <br />STREET — findings of fact that were discussed at that meeting. <br />GALBA <br />The City Planner noted the proposed findings of fact before the Council <br />pointing out that they have been reviewed and revised by the City <br />Attorney. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2006-2-42 — DENYING THE PROPOSED TEXT <br />AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING CODE FOR RECREATIONAL <br />USES IN THE FRONT YARD BY CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />THAT WAS REQUESTED BY MATT GALBA, 2580 EDGERTON <br />STREET, BASED ON THE FOLLOWING FINDINGS OF FACT: <br />The Zoning Ordinance requires that the following considerations shall <br />be applied to potential zoning amendments: <br />5 <br />
