MINUTES CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT - 2900 RICE STREET — COLISEUM BILLIARDS MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING CITY COUNCIL LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA JANUARY 25, 2006 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 25th day of January, 2006 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Mayor Bill Blesener called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following members of the City Council were present at roll call: CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Council Member Council Member ABSENT: Council Member Council Member ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator City Attorney Cable TV Producer City Clerk Mr. Bill Blesener Mr. Rick Montour Mr. John Keis Ms. Barb Allan Mr. Jim LaValle Mr. Joel R. Hanson Mr. Thomas Sweeney Mr. Brandon Rickert Ms. Kathy Glanzer Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2006 -1 -14 — APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE JANUARY 10, 2006 SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING AND THE JANUARY 11, 2006 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. Ayes (3). Nays (0). Resolution adopted. Mayor Blesener opened the Public Hearing relative to a Conditional Use Permit to allow billiard /amusement hall as a commercial recreation use in the PUD District as well as to allow alcohol sales at the billiard hall and to allow the billiard hall to remain open until 4 a.m. for Coliseum Billiards at 2900 Rice Street. It was noted that the Planning Commission recommended approval of the CUP subject to the following: o Compliance with the recommendations of the City Planner; o 4 a.m. closing time to be allowed, with closing time to be posted as 2 a.m.; o Alcohol sales and consumption to be restricted to the back room area and sales to cease at 1 a.m.;
