Carding duty
Staff is expected to know the differences between a real identification card and a fake one. They are
responsible for confiscating any fake cards they see, most specifically the ones presented to them by a
minor. These fake cards should then be turned over to a manager immediately. They should NOT be left
behind the service counter. On occasion, when Police are present, security will adhere to suggestions
made by the Minneapolis Police Department.
Staff will not deliver any alcohol to a table before checking valid Id cards. Single persons will not be
allowed to buy multiple beers if sitting alone. Every beer requires a separate id at the table. The
business has the obligation to refuse service to anyone with a non-valid ID card. Staff must assure that
persons who are not wanted in the establishment are not allowed to enter the establishment. These
persons include those who are clearly over-intoxicated or believed to be potentially dangerous to
customers, employees, property, persons with un-kept appearances or odors, and persons believed to
be of unsound mental capacities. Patrons with weapons will not be allowed in the business. The decision
of the Owner or Manager in these matters will be respected by all other employees. Staff will check all
valid Id’s of persons entering the premises at the tables. Staff shall ask persons appearing to be under
30 to show their ids before service is provided at the table.
