Sticker Board at Cookies with Santa Event 12/7/24 <br />In Person Sticker Boards <br />Staff provided residents with the opportunity <br />to share their level of interest in a community <br />building using in-person sticker boards at various <br />community events. <br /> <br />For example, at the 2024 Cookies with Santa <br />event, a board was placed in a high traffic area for <br />residents to provide their feedback in person. <br />Online Feedback Form Sign’s were posted around the city <br />Key takeaways from the community at these events were: <br />• Community is interested in a variety of <br /> uses for the rental room <br />• Majority of survey respondents preferred a room size of 75-124 <br />• Amenities such as food service area, outdoor patio and fireplace were important <br />Public Comment and Online Feedback Form <br />The Technical Advisory Committee actively sought feedback from the community. The committee invited <br />public comments at the start of meetings and created an online feedback form. All submissions through <br />the online form were read aloud during the public comment period at meetings. Overall, 14 online form <br />submittals were received. <br /> <br />Community engagement sets the foundation for the development of a community building in Little Canada <br />that reflects the unique character, values, and needs of the community. This collaborative approach ensures <br />that this report will be a collective accomplishment, with the construction of a new community building that <br />the community can enjoy and take pride in for generations to come. <br />18 City of Little Canada Technical Advisory Committee Final Report
