4 <br /> <br />City of Little Canada Personnel Policy <br /> SECTION 3 - SCOPE OF POLICY <br /> <br />This personnel policy applies to all employees of the City except the following: <br /> <br />1. All elected officials <br /> <br />2. The City Attorney, City Engineer, and all other consultants and contractors retained by <br />the city <br /> <br />4. Members of City boards, commissions, and committees <br /> <br />5. Members of the Little Canada Fire Department <br /> <br />6. Volunteer personnel working on behalf of the City <br /> <br />Any employee included in a collective bargaining agreement entered into in accordance with the <br />Public Employment Labor Relations Act (Minn. Stat. Sections 179A.01 to 179A.25) shall be exempt <br />from any provision to this policy that is inconsistent with such agreement. Any employee within the <br />jurisdiction of a personnel board or civil service commission established under Minnesota Statutes <br />Chapters 44, 419, or 420 is exempt from any provision of this part which is inconsistent with such <br />statute or rules and regulations adopted thereunder. Nothing in this part is intended to modify or <br />supersede any provision of the Veteran's Preference Act, Minn. Stat. Sections 197.455, 197.46, <br />197.481 and 43A.11.
