Architect/Engineer (A/E) <br />The selected A/E firm will be responsible for the complete architectural and engineering design of the <br />project and for coordinating with the City throughout all phases. Responsibilities include: <br />• Overall project management and coordination <br />• Schedule development and monitoring <br />• Cost estimating and budget tracking <br />• Facilitation of bid package(s) strategy <br />• Preparation of all design and construction documents <br />• Coordination of engineering disciplines and consultants <br />• Preparing all required drawings and documentation to permitting agencies <br />• Participation in bidding and construction administration <br />• Ensuring design compliance with program, budget, and applicable codes <br /> <br />The A/E shall work collaboratively with the City to ensure project alignment with schedule, budget, and <br />quality objectives. <br /> <br />Sub-Consultant Team <br />The architecture firm may assemble a team of sub-consultants to execute the necessary design and <br />engineering services to complete the project. This sub-consultant team may be comprised of, but not <br />limited to, the following disciplines: <br />• Interior Design <br />• Structural Engineering <br />• Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Engineering <br />• Cost Estimator <br /> <br />The proposer shall provide FFE-related services including: <br />• Development of specifications and layouts, assistance with vendor selection, procurement <br />coordination, installation oversight, and punch list completion. <br />• Inclusion of low-voltage systems, audiovisual components, and City-specified FFE items within the <br />bid packages. <br />
