Hanson <br />www.ei.little-eanacla.mn.us <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Mayor Blesener and Members of the City Council <br />FROM: Joel Hanson, City Administrator <br />DATE: July 8, 2005 <br />RE: Flower Garden Reimbursement — 3295 Twin Lake Road <br />Attached is a recommendation from the City Engineer for reimbursement of $400 to Mr. <br />Mike Rogers, 3295 Twin Lake Road, for flower garden restoration resulting from the <br />Twin Lake Area street and watermain improvement. Staff considers this reimbursement <br />to be routine, but wanted the City Council to be aware of it given that the flower garden <br />existed within the street right -of -way. Historically, the City has restored private <br />improvements such as landscaping, trees, and fencing that exist within the right -of -way, <br />but are disturbed as the result of a street reconstruction. <br />Staff recommends approval of the reimbursement, and looks for Council consensus on <br />this practice going forward. <br />
