No Parking On Both Sides of the Street — Approximately half of South Owasso Blvd between Rice Street and Country Drive is currently posted no parking on both sides of the street. Due to the high volume of large truck traffic and the number of business driveways on this street, this seems to provide the safest solution. It should be noted that in order to accommodate residents who periodically require on- street parking due to special events, the City issues on- street parking permits upon request. Staff believes that the no -park zone should be place on both sides of the street from Rice Street to Country Drive. However, as indicated earlier, before this item is brought before the City Council, the input of impacted property owners is needed to determine the preference of the majority of the property owners. Therefore, I would like to request that you complete the survey form below and return it in the enclosed postage -paid envelope on or before April 7, 2004. The Council will be presented with a summary of this information for consideration at their April 14th regular meeting. Please keep in mind that the Council will consider the results of the survey in making their decision, but those results will not necessarily be their only consideration.
