The City will implement and <br />enforce a program to reduce pollutants in any storm water runoff from construction <br />activities that result in a land disturbance of greater than or equal to one acre as <br />described in BMP sheets 4 -01 -R to 4 -05 -R. <br />a. See BMP 4 -02 -R and 4 -03 for the City's regulatory mechanism to require <br />erosion and sediment controls and to ensure compliance. These mechanisms are <br />or will be in place by March 11, 2005. <br />b, See BMPs 4 -02 -R to 4 -05 -R for requirements for constntction site operators to <br />implement appropriate erosion and sediment control BMPs. <br />c. See BMPs 4 -02 -R to 4 -05 -R for requirements for construction site operators to <br />control waste, such as discarded building materials, concrete truck washout, <br />chemicals, litter, and sanitary waste at the construction site that may cause <br />adverse impacts to water quality. <br />d. See BMP 4 -03 and 4 -04 -R for procedures for site plan review which incorporate <br />consideration of potential water quality impacts. <br />e. See BMP 4 -05 -R for the procedures for receipt and consideration of reports of <br />non compliance or other information on construction related issues submitted by <br />the public, and <br />f. See BMPs 4 -02 -R and 4 -03 to 4 -05 -R for procedures for site inspection and <br />enforcement of control measures. <br />5. Post - construction storm water management in new development and <br />redevelopment. The City will implement and enforce a program to address storm <br />water runoff from new development and redevelopment projects that disturb greater <br />than or equal to one acre as described in BMP sheets 5 -01 -R to 5 -04. <br />a. The City will implement strategies which include a combination of structural <br />and /or non - structural best management practices (See BMPs 5 -03 -R and 5 -04). <br />b. See BMPs 5 -02 -R and 5 -04 for the City's regulatory mechanism to address post - <br />construction runoff from new development and redevelopment projects. <br />c. See BMPs 5 -03 -R for the City's program to ensure adequate long -term <br />operation and maintenance of BMPs installed as a result of these requirements. <br />6. Pollution prevention /good housekeeping for municipal operations.
