MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 17, 2003 <br />COMPRE- <br />HENSIVE <br />SIGN PLAN AND <br />ARCHITECTURAL <br />REVIEW — <br />2970 - 2994 RICE <br />STREET — <br />TACHENY <br />PROFESSIONAL <br />PARK <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003 -12 -280 — APPROVING THE CONDITIONAL USE <br />PERMIT FOR SECOND GARAGE AS WELL AS TOTAL GARAGE SPACE <br />OVER 1,000 SQUARE FEET TO A MAXIMUM OF 1,500 SQUARE FEET <br />AS REQUESTED BY MR. DICK BOSS, 57 BRYAN AVENUE, SUBJECT <br />TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY <br />PLANNER AND THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (3) Blesener, LaValle, Montour. <br />Nays (0). <br />Abstains (1) Fahey. Resolution declared adopted. <br />The Council discussed whether to initiate consideration of the vacation of a <br />portion of Boss Road. Mr. Boss indicated that he would submit a petition for <br />the vacation. <br />Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider the Comprehensive Sign <br />Plan and Architectural Review for a monument sign for the Tacheny <br />Professional Park. It was noted that the City Planner and the Planning <br />Commission recommended approval. <br />There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Fahey, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was closed. <br />The Council reviewed the plans for both the monument sign and the individual <br />business identification and address signs. Mr. Dan Tacheny reported that the <br />individual business identification signs would be located next to each business <br />entry door. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003 -12 -281 — APPROVING THE COMPREHENSIVE <br />SIGN PLAN AND THE ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW FOR THE <br />MONUMENT SIGN FOR THE TACHENY PROFESSION PARK SUBJECT <br />TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY <br />PLANNER AND THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Fahey, Montour, Anderson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />
