MINUTES CITY COUNCIL DECEMBER 17, 2003 COMPRE- HENSIVE SIGN PLAN AND ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW — 2970 - 2994 RICE STREET — TACHENY PROFESSIONAL PARK Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2003 -12 -280 — APPROVING THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR SECOND GARAGE AS WELL AS TOTAL GARAGE SPACE OVER 1,000 SQUARE FEET TO A MAXIMUM OF 1,500 SQUARE FEET AS REQUESTED BY MR. DICK BOSS, 57 BRYAN AVENUE, SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER AND THE PLANNING COMMISSION The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (3) Blesener, LaValle, Montour. Nays (0). Abstains (1) Fahey. Resolution declared adopted. The Council discussed whether to initiate consideration of the vacation of a portion of Boss Road. Mr. Boss indicated that he would submit a petition for the vacation. Mayor Fahey opened the public hearing to consider the Comprehensive Sign Plan and Architectural Review for a monument sign for the Tacheny Professional Park. It was noted that the City Planner and the Planning Commission recommended approval. There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on this matter. Upon motion by Fahey, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was closed. The Council reviewed the plans for both the monument sign and the individual business identification and address signs. Mr. Dan Tacheny reported that the individual business identification signs would be located next to each business entry door. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2003 -12 -281 — APPROVING THE COMPREHENSIVE SIGN PLAN AND THE ARCHITECTURAL REVIEW FOR THE MONUMENT SIGN FOR THE TACHENY PROFESSION PARK SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY PLANNER AND THE PLANNING COMMISSION The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Fahey, Montour, Anderson. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted.
