Hanson
In preparing the Feasibility Study for 2005 Street Reconstruction and Utility Improvements, the City
Engineer and staff reviewed the City's current assessment rates. Based on this review, staff is
recommending the following increases:
Maximum Residential Street Rate
Maximum Commercial Street Rate
Current Proposed
$51.50
$105.00
$53.05 /per front foot
$108.15 /per front foot
The increases proposed are based on a three percent inflation rate. It should also be noted that we are
not recommending an increase in the water main cap at this time as it does not appear the Carla Lane
project will approach this amount, if it proceeds.
