The major complaint was speeding
motorists. Also, the complaint wanted the consideration of a three -way stop sign at that
intersection.
On Tuesday, November 22d, 2004 at approximately 0830 hours, I placed the `Metrocount Speed
Monitoring Tube System' onto the roadway. They were placed onto County Road B2, just to the
west of Greenbrier Circle. For part of the day, I monitored the area and made several traffic
stops. All of the violators were traveling over the posted limit of' 30 Mph. All were traveling at
rates higher than 40 Mph, but less than 50 Mph.
Be ncoum speed Tams.
County Road 132 (Eastbound
The following are my observations of County Road B2 at this location:
• The roadway is a clearly posted 30 Mph zone.
® One 30 Mph speed limit sign posted just as you turn onto County Road B2 from Edgerton
Street.
® One 30 Mph speed limit sign posted just as you turn on County Road B2 from Arcade
Street.
• Hills are present, both to the east and west of Greenbrier Circle of County Road B2
• County Road B2 is clear of any obstructions, while traveling east or westbound.
• Greenbrier Circle has obstruction from a pine tree while facing westbound County Road
B2.
4-
