MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 24, 2002 <br />PRELIMINARY <br />& FINAL PLAT - <br />TACHENY <br />ADDITION <br />ARCHITEC- <br />TURAL <br />REVIEW — <br />POOLSIDE <br />ADDITION <br />Jon Weiss, Common Bond, reported that they are in the process of <br />finalizing HUD financing for the Garden Terrace Addition. It is their <br />hope that construction will begin approximately September 1 ". <br />Fahey opened the Public Hearing to consider the Preliminary and Final <br />Plat for the Tacheny Addition consisting of eight towno(Fce units. It was <br />noted that the Planning Commission has recommended approval of the <br />plat. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Scalze, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2002 -7 -174 — APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY <br />AND FINAL_ PL A T FOR THE 7ACHENY ADDITION SUBJECT TO <br />COMPLIANCE WITH 7'HE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY <br />PLANNER AND THE CITY ENGINEER, INCLUDING <br />DEDICATION OF AN APPROPRIATE SIDEWALK EASEMENT <br />ALONG RICE STREET <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Anderson, Montour, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Fahey opened the Public Hearing to consider the Architectural Review <br />relative to the Poolside addition at 121 East County Road C. The Planning <br />Commission recommended approval of the architectural review subject to <br />compliance with the recommendations of the City Planner and City <br />Engineer. <br />The Council reviewed the recommendation of the Public Works Director <br />relative to an electrical line that was placed within the City's storm sewer <br />pipe. It is his recommendation that this line be relocated as a condition of <br />approval. There was some discussion regarding who is responsible for <br />relocation of the electrical line. Fahey indicated that the City did not need <br />to be a party to that discussion. The issue was between the property owner <br />and Xcel Energy. <br />7 <br />
