Hanson <br />Attached is a copy of a request from Wayne -Val Auto Body for a Conditional Use Permit for an retail <br />auto sales license. While we will process this request under the normal fashion, that is consideration <br />by the Planning Commission and a Public Hearing by the City Council, staff wanted the Council to <br />be aware that there is additional interest in auto sales licenses. <br />it should also be noted that the particular request attached would likely not meet the intent of the <br />ordinance amendment being considered by the Council. That ordinance amendment would allow <br />auto retail sales licenses over the City's maximum of four (4) licenses, while prohibiting these <br />additional licenses from having any outdoor display space. <br />
