April 29, 2002
Williams Pipeline
2728 Patton Road
St. Paul, MN 55113
Re: Proposed Development of Turnquist/Palmen Property, City of Little Canada.
To whom it may concern,
As residents of McMenemy St. and Viking Dr. in Little Canada we are very concerned
about the prospect of any development of the Palmen /Turnquist property. This property's
proximity to the Williams Pipeline is the basis of our concern. The proposed development
involves the building of an access road on the 75 foot Mid Oaks lot on McMenemy
Street. Use of heavy equipment in this area so close to 45 year old pipes does not seem
wise or at all safe. We urge that Williams Pipeline ahere to your established easement and
help prevent the possibility of environmental disaster that could the gravely affect the
health and welfare of our community.
Sincerely,
Teresa and Dorothy Pojar
2535 McMenemy Rd.
Little Canada, MN 55117
Mary Pojar Rheame
421 East Viking Drive
Little Canada, MN 55117
cc:
Minnesota Office of Pipeline Safety
444 Cedar St., Suite 147
St. Paul, MN 55101
City of Little Canada
515 E.
