employees. City further agrees to continue to enroll Provos in long -term disability coverage <br />in a manner consistent with other employees. The cost of long -term disability coverage is <br />Provos' responsibility. <br />9. DUES AND SUBSCRIPTIONS. City will budget and pay the professional dues, <br />subscriptions, and licensure for Provos for her continued participation in national, regional <br />state, and local associations necessary and desirable for her continued professional <br />participation, growth and advancement and for the good of City. Enrollment in these <br />organizations shall be reviewed and approved by the City Administrator. <br />10. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT. City will budget and pay the travel and subsistence <br />expenses of Provos for professional and official travel for meetings and occasions adequate to <br />continue the professional development of Provos and to adequately pursue necessary official <br />and other committees thereof which employee serves as a member. Provos will use good <br />judgment in her outside activities so as to not neglect her primary duties to City. City will also <br />budget for and pay the travel and subsistence expenses of Provos for short courses, or <br />seminars necessary for her professional growth and for the good of City, as approved by the <br />City Administrator. <br />11. GENERAL EXPENSES. City recognizes that certain expenses of a non - personal and job <br />affiliated nature will be incurred by Provos. City agrees to reimburse or to pay said expenses, <br />subject to approval of the City Administrator. <br />12. HOURS OF WORK. The position of Finance Director will require an average of over forty <br />(40) hours per week to successfully discharge the duties assigned. It is also understood that <br />the position will require occasional attendance at evening and /or weekend meetings.
