compensatory time shall not be allowed with reference to any such additional expenditures of <br />time. It is further understood that Provos may absent herself from the office to a reasonable <br />extent in consideration of extraordinary time expenditures for evening and weekend meetings <br />at other than normal working hours subject to approval of the City Administrator. <br />13. AUTOMOBILE. Provos shall use her own vehicles for business use. Provos shall be paid <br />mileage at the rate established by City to use her personal automobile for City business. City <br />may adjust this rate from time to time in conjunction with changes to Internal Revenue Service <br />regulations. <br />14. "AT WILL" EMPLOYMENT. Provos understands and agrees that her employment with <br />the City of Little Canada continues at the will of the Little Canada City Council and, as such, <br />may be terminated without cause, without the need to indicate a specific reason, without <br />advance written notice, and at any time at the option of either herself or the City of Little <br />Canada. Provos further understands and agrees that her position as an exempt employee is <br />specifically excluded from the Personnel Policy of City and that the provisions contained in <br />said Personnel Policy have no application to her employment, except as stated herein. All <br />rights governing her employment relationship with City are set forth in this Agreement. <br />15. TERMINATION AND SEVERANCE PAY. If, prior to July 22, 2013, the City terminates <br />Provos during such time that she is willing and able to perform the duties of Finance Director, <br />the City will pay Provos a lump sum cash payment equal to one month of aggregate salary. <br />Payment of the severance benefit is conditioned upon Provos' execution of a full release, in a <br />form that is acceptable to the City, of any and all claims arising out of her employment <br />relationship with the City. Any severance payments will be made without a matching deferred <br />compensation payment from the City. In addition to said severance pay, Provos shall be paid <br />4 <br />
