EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered this 28th day of May, 2003, by and between the <br />City of Little Canada, a Municipal Corporation under the laws of the State of Minnesota, hereinafter <br />referred to as "City ", and Michelle Rueckert, hereinafter referred to as "Rueckert ". <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, City employs Rueckert as its Accounting Supervisor, and said employment <br />began on July 2, 2001; and <br />WHEREAS, Rueckert is being designated an exempt employee by City; and <br />WHEREAS, Rueckert agrees to enter this agreement with City as a condition of exempt status <br />and pursuant to the terms and conditions of employment contained herein, <br />IT IS HEREBY AGREED AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. POSITION. City agrees to employ Rueckert as its Accounting Supervisor. Rueckert agrees <br />to serve as the Accounting Supervisor for City, will devote her full business time and best <br />efforts to the City, and will engage in no outside business without the prior approval of City. <br />Rueckert agrees to perform the duties of Accounting Supervisor as they have been explained <br />to her and as they may be changed from time to tune. Additionally, Rueckert shall be <br />required to perform such other duties as may be directed from time to time. <br />2. SALARY. City agrees to pay Rueckert a salary of $58,500 per year starting January 1, 2003 <br />and continuing through December 31, 2003. In future years, the Accounting Supervisor's <br />salary scale will be adjusted at a time consistent with other employees and in a manner subject <br />to the approval of the City Council of Little Canada and in compliance with City's <br />comparable worth plan. City agrees to provide a performance review of Rueckert on an <br />annual basis. <br />2 <br />
