EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered this 28th day of May, 2003, by and between the City of Little Canada, a Municipal Corporation under the laws of the State of Minnesota, hereinafter referred to as "City ", and Michelle Rueckert, hereinafter referred to as "Rueckert ". WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, City employs Rueckert as its Accounting Supervisor, and said employment began on July 2, 2001; and WHEREAS, Rueckert is being designated an exempt employee by City; and WHEREAS, Rueckert agrees to enter this agreement with City as a condition of exempt status and pursuant to the terms and conditions of employment contained herein, IT IS HEREBY AGREED AS FOLLOWS: 1. POSITION. City agrees to employ Rueckert as its Accounting Supervisor. Rueckert agrees to serve as the Accounting Supervisor for City, will devote her full business time and best efforts to the City, and will engage in no outside business without the prior approval of City. Rueckert agrees to perform the duties of Accounting Supervisor as they have been explained to her and as they may be changed from time to tune. Additionally, Rueckert shall be required to perform such other duties as may be directed from time to time. 2. SALARY. City agrees to pay Rueckert a salary of $58,500 per year starting January 1, 2003 and continuing through December 31, 2003. In future years, the Accounting Supervisor's salary scale will be adjusted at a time consistent with other employees and in a manner subject to the approval of the City Council of Little Canada and in compliance with City's comparable worth plan. City agrees to provide a performance review of Rueckert on an annual basis. 2
