DMP Name: Used Oil and Household Hazardous Wastes and pc Catje <br />Pesticide Disposal ad <br />Unique ID: 3 -06 <br />MCM: #3 — Illicit Discharge Detection and Elimination <br />COMMUNIN PRIDE <br />1953 - 2005 <br />Description: <br />The City will continue to participate in the Metro County Hazardous Waste and Recycling Program <br />which collects: adhesives, aerosol spray products, automotive products, fluorescent lamps, furniture <br />refinishing products, household cleaners, paint, stain, pool chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, <br />insecticides, etc. More information can be found at: http: / /www.co.ramsey.mn.us /ph /eh /haz <br />waste.asp . <br />Justification: <br />The improper disposal of hazardous household products can create a significant source of dangerous <br />pollutants in storm water.
