These connections will allow residents to access regional <br />trail systems and regional park systems in adjacent communities. <br />The first trail connection project extends the existing Little Canada trail system from Westwinds <br />Park to the east City boundary with Maplewood at Maple Leaf Court. This 2000 lineal foot <br />connection will link with the Maplewood trail system and will provide a critical connection to <br />the Lake Links Regional Trail and the Bruce Vento Regional Trail. <br />The second trail connection project extends the existing Little Canada trail system from the <br />Waterworks trail at South Owasso Boulevard. This 4000 lineal foot connection will link with the <br />Shoreview trail system and will provide a critical connection to the Snail Lake, Grass Lake, Lake <br />Vadnais Regional Park and Trail System. <br />
