CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />RESOLUTION OF SUPPORT <br />2003 LOCAL TRAIL CONNECTIONS PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, <br />The City of Little Canada has determined the need to construct trail segments that will <br />link its existing trails to regional parks and trail systems in adjacent communities; <br />AND WHEREAS, <br />Estimated cost of such trail improvements is $200,000.00; <br />AND WHEREAS, <br />The City of Little Canada has budgeted the appropriate "cash match" for such trail <br />improvements as part of its 2003/2004 Budget <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LITTLE CANADA <br />That the Council hereby authorizes submission of a grant application for the 2003 Local <br />Trail Connections Program for trail improvements within the City of Little Canada, and <br />allocates the appropriate "matching funds" for these improvements in the event of a grant <br />award. <br />This resolution was adopted by the Council of the City of Little Canada on the 26th day of <br />February, 2003. <br />Attest: <br />Joel R.
