Recommended Proposal: <br />OPN Architects <br />OPN Architects is an award-winning, regional design firm that expanded to Minneapolis in <br />2022, establishing its fifth location in the historic Colonial Warehouse in the North Loop. Led by <br />Associate Principal Tate Walker, the Minneapolis studio, along with its Iowa and Wisconsin <br />counterparts, offers a comprehensive blend of architecture, planning, and interior design. The <br />firm, with over 100 designers regionally, focuses on people-driven, sustainable design for <br />diverse sectors including education, public safety, and health care. <br />Work for municipalities, counties, states, and the federal government has made up a large portion <br />of their work in the past decade, with hundreds of completed projects ranging from small <br />restroom renovations to nationally and internationally award-winning fire stations and many <br />other new and renovated buildings of all scopes and sizes. In the last five years, more than 75% <br />of their work has been publicly funded projects, including many community buildings similar to <br />the one envisioned by Little Canada. Recent relevant projects include the verified net-zero for <br />energy efficiency Ellis Course Clubhouse and the newly minted Fred Richards Park Building in <br />Edina.
